Automotive Detailer

Responsibilities:

The Quality Support Technician (QST) is responsible for pre-washing some vehicles prior to moving them into production, and cleans and details all assigned vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer. The position is also responsible for supporting management and coworkers by completing general cleaning responsibilities. The QST contributes to delivering Auto Body Clinic’s promise of speed, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Contributions:

  • Pre-Op & Repair Planning: Performs a pre-wash on some vehicles prior to the actual repair process beginning. May also wash vehicles during the estimating process in order to identify all damage and upsell opportunities.
  • Team Engagement & Problem-Solving: Is an active and prepared participant in daily production meetings. Knows status of vehicles and helps problem solving and getting and keeping vehicles scheduled for on-time delivery.
  • Vehicle Repair: Performs a thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer. May participate in QC process by completing the detail and other non-repair portions of the process as assigned.
  • Miscellaneous Support Duties: Provides support by shuttling customers and vehicles, and general maintenance of repair center and outside grounds.
  • Safe & Organized Workplace: Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment and follows proper repair procedures. Adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal. Participates in monthly safety meetings and utilizes information on the job. Keeps detailing work area organized and returns tools, materials and equipment to designated areas.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers
  • Must be willing to accept work direction from multiple parties and work as part of a team
  • Must maintain a valid state drivers license in order to drive any customer or company vehicle
  • Predictable and reliable attendance required

Collision Estimator

Responsibilities:

The Collision Estimator, or as we call them Customer Service Manager (CSM), is responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue targets by capturing every viable job that comes to the door, and upselling additional services. The CSM writes accurate estimates and tracks the vehicle’s progress through the repair process, keeping the customers continually informed and the file updated. The CSM actively participates in solving problems that impact the speed and quality of the repair. This position plays a key role in ensuring that Auto Body Clinic’s customer satisfaction ratings are strong.

Qualifications:

  • Prior estimating experience at a collision repair facility
  • Ability to write complete and accurate estimates
  • Knowledge of insurance guidelines
  • Thorough knowledge of automobile repair estimating, including relevant software programs
  • Excellent sales abilities and overall communication skills. Able to relate well to diverse audiences
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must maintain a valid state driver’s license to drive any customer or company vehicle

Auto Body Technician

  • Ability to use frame and measuring equipment
  • ASE certification in body repairs and I-CAR certification preferred

Collision Center Manager

Overview

Responsibilities:

Auto Body Clinic’s Collision Center Manager (General Manager) position is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the collision repair center. As a General Manager you will ensure that the sales, operation, financial and customer satisfaction metrics are achieved in accordance with Auto Body Clinic’s standards of Operational Excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of the collision repair process gained through hands-on industry experience
  • Strong analytical and coordination capabilities; capable of effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking
  • Highly-effective leadership skills, including above-average communication skills.

Marketing Specialist

Qualifications:

Auto Body Clinic’s Marketing Specialist is responsible for the promoting and advertising of the company in a positive manner. As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for all the organization of events, mailings, sales, opportunities and recruitment. You will be in charge of having a constant and effective marketing plan that means the estimators have more than enough opportunities for sales, which means the technicians can be busy all year round!

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Have valid Driver’s license for traveling for sales and recruitment events
